REIKI FOR CHILDREN
This class includes discussion about intention and Reiki history, instruction on giving Reiki treatments to themselves and others, 4 attunements and a certificate. This class is for children ages 6 to 12 and lasts 2 hours the first day and 2 hours the 2nd day. Each child must be accompanied by a Reiki-trained parent or caregiver, or a parent can enroll along with the child. $100 per student. Next class TBA.

Advanced Reiki and Reiki Master Training
Many Second Degree Reiki practitioners embrace Reiki as their spiritual path and wish to evolve still further. In the Reiki Alliance tradition, there is a "split track" after Second Degree. Those who wish to become Reiki Masters, i.e., to teach and give attunements, embark on an apprenticeship lasting one to three years. During this time, the apprentice schedules, programs, and co-teaches classes with the Master in order to learn through practice as well as study and personal evolution.
Those who wish to advance further in the practice of Reiki without becoming a Master may take Advanced Reiki, which includes another Reiki symbol and two additional attunements. I offer both Advanced Reiki and Reiki Master training; send an email to request more details.
Second Degree Reiki
Next class Sat/Sun May 5/6
1 to 4 pm (6 hours total)
Location -- 10 minutes south of the Galleria
$500 per student
After completing First Degree, students are asked to wait at least three months before undergoing Second Degree training so that the Reiki energy can become well-established in the system. Second Degree Reiki students learn how to work with Reiki for distance and mental healing, learn three symbols, receive two attunements and are certified as Second Degree practitioners. Graduates may attend future Second Degree classes at no charge.
This course is taught on two consecutive days for three hours per day (six hours altogether). First Degree graduates from any Reiki tradition are invited to enroll in the Second Degree class. 6 CEU's for massage therapists.

Reiki is a powerful form of energy work that is easy to learn, effective, and safe. In this class we learn the history of Reiki and the twelve basic hand positions. We practice giving Reiki treatments to ourselves and others. Each student receives four attunements (initiations which increase energy level) and receives certification as a First Degree Reiki practitioner. This is a practical, grounded class; graduates are capable of practicing Reiki immediately.
Group Reiki sessions (exchanges) are scheduled soon after every class to encourage students to continue working with the energy. Additionally, graduates may attend future First Degree classes at no charge. First Degree training is taught on two consecutive days for four hours per day (eight hours total). Classes are scheduled several times a year and are often taught at Body Mind & Soul bookstore, 4344 Westheimer in Houston. I also teach this class privately when at least four students are ready. Maximum enrollment of 8. 8 CEU's for massage therapists.
